My name is Yuhua Philip Chang. After completing my college studies and military service in Taiwan, I moved to San Diego with my wife in 1992 for graduate studies. Our two children were born and raised in this wonderful city. Due to a life-changing event requiring my daughter's long-term care, I shifted from Aeronautical Engineering to Accounting and Financial management. I passed the CPA exam in 1996 and obtained my CPA license in 1998. During my CPA practice, having chances to work with international pharmaceutical research companies sparked my interest in international taxes, leading me to earn a Master’s degree in International Tax Law & Policy from Texas A&M University School of Law. Beside my daily work, I also dedicate in Taiwanese American community services, and have been in a position of president of Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of San Diego and president of Taiwanese American Foundation in San Diego in past years.
